Summer Reading Program = Be Creative @the Library
Summer Storytime for toddlers, ages 2-3, will continue to be at 10:30 on Thursdays. Julia Ebel will be the principal session leader.
Summer Storytime will be from 10-11 each Thursday, beginning June 25. Each hour will include stories and the activities. Registration form (not required, but suggested.) June 25 - Flaco & Ze Clownettes – pre-school to fifth graders. July 2 – From Art to Zebras – pre-school to fifth graders. July 9 – Greensboro City Arts Drama – third to fifth graders. July 16 – Jeff Robbins, Mountain Music - pre-school to fifth graders. July 23 – On Stage Dance – pre-school to fifth graders. July 30 – French Knitting with Pat – third to fifth graders. August 6 – Cooking with Rita – pre-school to fifth graders. August 13 – Kindermusik for preschool -2nd graders Jazz Music in the style of John Coltrane – third to fifth graders. August 20 – Fantasia video – pre-school to fifth graders.
Be Creative @the Library includes a reading program intended to keep children reading throughout the summer months. They each will have a chart to fill in for the number of books they read or have read to them. After they fill in the chart, they return it to the library for small prizes. |

Registration Forms (not required , but suggested) Please email me if you are interested in attending any of these sessions. askendrick@triad.rr.com Summer Reading Program will be from 1-2 each Tuesday, beginning June 23rd. Each hour will include stories and the activities.
June 23 - Digital Photography June 30 –Scrapbooking With Rita Miller (Bring photos to make your scrapbook page. Other materials will be provided) July 7 – Create your own Avatar & Animation July 14 –Guitar Hero Competition (Xbox 360) Prizes will be awarded. July 21 – Greensboro City Arts Drama July 28 – Greensboro City Arts Drama August 4 –Coltrane, Ellington & Cafe Au Lait (Jazz styles ) August 11 –Soap Lady, Susan Stringer, Make your own bath crystals August 18 – Scrabble Contest Prizes will be awarded.
Express Yourself @the Library includes a reading program intended to keep Tweens /teens reading throughout the summer months. We have upgraded our collection of Young Adult books to appeal to this age group.They each will have a chart to fill in for the number of books they read. After they fill in the chart, they return it to the library for small prizes.
